No, that won't help. I haven't been able to fix this
yet. The problem is that we're hanging because we're
getting general exceptions in /sbin/init. The cause
of the exceptions is unknown and it's not always the
same instruction that gets it, but once we get it,
we can't recover.

I am without leads at the moment. There are no
dependency violations in the kernel that I can see.
No stale translations that're causing this and it
also doesn't seem to be a cache problem. Of course,
FreeBSD runs fine on Merced, McKinkley, Madison.
Just not Montecito :-(

A really good functional simulator may help us out
here, but ski (HP's simulator) has always worked for
us so won't help us with this.

In any case: I'll fix it as soon as possible, but
I have no idea when that is. Help and suggestions
are of course always welcome.
