Description:
Startup idea with little funding is looking for an enterprising
programmer for a sweat-equity dealthat is, working for a stake in the
company. Excellent Risk-Reward ratio. Note, this is not a paid position
and is compensated in equity until money is flowing. As a result, were
looking for a specific type of person...a go getter, and one thats
capable of showing a real desire and commitment to creating something
unique in order to change the market. Someone who has a demonstrated
ability to work on their own and meet all commitments and timelines.
Skills required:
Will need an expert C++ programmer on UNIX/ Linux/FreeBSD for a wireless
(802.11x) gateway project. Advanced programmer and SPEED is desired.
RADIUS or other authentication expertise is also essential.
Imbedded forms of Unix such as PicoBSD as well as full server BSD will
be needed.
Database knowledge will be essential as well.
Access/Gateway
experience and/or solid knowledge of Open-source software related to
such an application is requied. Perhaps youve even contributed to the
Unix Open-Source community yourself in some way. Candidate should be
extremely outgoing.
Nice to have : Web Programming,
gateway/authentication services, wireless authentication methods,
802.11x experience. Contributor to Linux/FreeBSD Open-Source community
especially in areas described.
Location: working from home.
Duration: 3 months to 1 year.
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: Equity based. Possibility of salary as well once service
launches and cash-flow allows.
