Hmm.. your taking about /sys/i386/boot/netboot? The Makefile
in there has stuff about NE2000 support.

It might cause problems... and you definately don't need it.
Just as a side note theres a file on
called netboot something... and its got an updated netboot
code in it that scans for IO's and when i did a "make" it
compiled a ne2000.com out-of-the-box.
If you need a ne2000.com and are still having problems send
me your IRQ and IO and i'll compile it here and post it to
ya. (its real small)
